Quick answer: About Raze: Raze is a clean, private tracker that helps people quit porn and masturbation by counting clean days, logging relapses and setting goals. It's built by Muneeb Rana . Health content on this site is reviewed by Safi Allah Khan and follows our editorial policy.
About Raze: why it exists
Raze is built around a simple idea: a tool for quitting porn should do a few things well, stay private, and never put anything explicit on screen. Founder story and motivation: . Raze 1.0 launched on the App Store in April 2026.
The company behind it is Xtra App Studios . Raze is founded and written by Muneeb Rana .
What we believe about quitting
| Belief | What it means for the app |
|---|---|
| Honesty beats perfection | Relapses are logged, not hidden; the tracker is built around that |
| Short goals work better than "forever" | Goals and milestones are close together |
| Private by default | No explicit content; discreet design |
| An app isn't treatment | We point people to professionals when use is compulsive |
| Paying once is fairer than paying forever | One $14.99 Lifetime Activation, no subscription listed |
The people behind the site
- Muneeb Rana, founder and author. Writes the guides and feature pages on this site .
- Safi Allah Khan, medical reviewer for health-related articles .
Health guides show the reviewer's name in the byline. Pages without that line, like this one, haven't been medically reviewed.
How we write this site
Every guide cites dated sources: research papers, the WHO's ICD-11, NHS, Mayo Clinic and similar. Where we don't know something, for example whether a feature exists in the current version, we mark it for confirmation rather than guessing. Comparison pages use store listings checked on a stated date and say clearly that Raze is our app. We don't publish made-up ratings, user counts or testimonials. Read the full editorial policy.
What Raze is not
Raze doesn't block websites, monitor your browsing, or report to anyone else. It isn't a substitute for therapy or medical care; the medical disclaimer explains where its limits are.

We'll add to this as things actually happen, not as plans.
How we decide what to build
Raze's feature list is short on purpose. Before adding anything, we ask three questions: does it help someone get through a risky moment, does it keep the app free of explicit content, and does it work without exposing the user to other people unless they choose to? Ideas that fail one of those, such as public leaderboards of streaks, don't make it in .
Our approach to money
Raze is free to download, with a single optional $14.99 Lifetime Activation. There's no subscription listed. We think people trying to break a habit shouldn't have to wonder whether they're being charged every month. See pricing for what's confirmed about the purchase.
Working with us
If you're a therapist, researcher or support organisation and want to suggest corrections to our guides, or discuss resources for your clients, get in touch through contact. We don't currently offer clinician dashboards or partner programmes .
Where we are
Xtra App Studios is based in . We're a small team , so replies to email may take a little time, but every message is read by a person.
What we won't do
We won't sell your data, use shame-based messages, or make claims about health benefits that the research doesn't support. If something on our site falls short of that, tell us and we'll fix it.
